The project builds on our recently published UrbHealth-ABM, an empirically grounded scenario ABM of Amsterdam linking mobility, air pollution, transport physical activity, and health, and extends it to study how urban design and environmental stressors shape active lifestyles and health equity, in collaboration with TNO (Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research). The position offers great opportunities to explore different methodologies for behavior modelling and to apply the work across multiple cities in the Netherlands and beyond.We are looking for candidates with a Master's in a relevant field (Data Science, Urban Planning, Computational Science, Geography, GIS, Epidemiology, or similar) and experience with simulation or programming.
