WICI members Chrystopher Nehaniv and Kerstin Dautenhahn co-founded and co-direct the Social and Intelligence Robotics Research Lab (SIRRL) at University of Waterloo, a growing research group focused in the fields of social robotics, human-robot interaction, cognitive and developmental robotics and Embodied Artificial Intelligence, to advance knowledge in social and intelligent robotics and to develop robots that can make a positive contribution to human society.
