Research Networking Lunch for New Frontiers and NSERC Alliance
Interested in applying to the New Frontiers or NSERC Alliance grant, but still looking for research partners?
The Waterloo Institute for Complexity and Innovation (WICI) and the Faculty of Science are hosting an interdisciplinary research networking lunch in DC 1301 from 12 - 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17th, in conjunction with the information webinar being hosted by the Office of Research from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in DC 1302.
Eligible researchers interested in the New Frontiers Research Fund - 2019 Exploration Grant or the NSERC Alliance Grant are encouraged to attend.
Lunch will be served in DC 1301 at 12 noon, followed by an organized networking session to run until 1:30 p.m.
To prepare, think about how to describe yourself and your research using:
- up to 3 research application areas
- up to 3 methods used
- up to 3 disciplinary areas with which you identify
You can also think about which “3-3s” would represent your perfect research partner!
Attendance is open to all faculty but we kindly request all interested attendees to reserve a FREE ticket from Eventbrite so that catering numbers can be estimated accordingly.
