Peter Jentsch

PhD Candidate - Applied Mathematics

Peter Jentsch is a PhD candidate in the Department Of Applied Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. Supervised by Dr. Chris T. Bauch and Dr. Madhur Anand, his research is primarily in the field of mathematical ecology and human-environment systems. He completed his undergraduate degree in applied mathematics at the University of Waterloo. Currently, his PhD research is focused on coupled-human environment dynamical models of disturbances within the North American boreal forest, and their applications to forest management. Peter is also a part-time researcher with the Canadian Forest Service.
