His current research examines bi-lateral and tri-lateral environmental governance structures in North America, with a particular focus on the institutional aspects of governance. This work includes an ongoing collaboration with Isabel Studer and Debora VanNijnatten designing governance tools for integrating climate law and policy in North America. Professor Craik has particular interests in the intersection of international and domestic environmental policy, and in procedural aspects of transnational environmental law and governance.
