Robert Babin

Robert holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies and a Master of Arts in Planning from the University of Waterloo. During his time at Waterloo, he developed the residential valuation sub-model for a regional land-market transportation microsimulation project. As a data analyst with MPAC, Robert constructs and applies statistical models to assess residential properties in Southwestern Ontario. Robert also leads special projects within MPAC to improve valuation equity and efficiency within the corporation. He is a recipient of the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) U40 Leadership Lab Innovation Grant, which is awarded to young property assessment professionals who have “demonstrated a creative or innovative idea that has had a tangible and positive impact on the processes or procedures of their jurisdiction”.
