Jennifer Beaudin believes that building genuine and trusting relationships is at the core of establishing a partnership which promotes empowerment, change and growth. In her 10+ years supporting various vulnerable populations, she have witnessed the power that relationships have on individuals’ empowerment and belief that they can heal and lead happy, fulfilling lives. Jennifer was drawn to Community Justice Initiatives’ holistic approach to crime and conflict – supporting not only people who have experienced harm but also those who have caused harm. She believes to truly solve a problem, all parties must be supported and given the opportunity to be heard and heal. In 2016, Jennifer graduated with High Distinction from the Social Service Worker program at Conestoga College, focusing my studies on the impact of sexual trauma. In her spare time she loves to be creative – spinning, knitting and weaving projects and getting lost in a good sci-fi or fantasy book.
