Engineering COVID-19 Graduate Bursary

Award description:
The Engineering COVID-19 Graduate Bursary will provide financial support of up to $900 to incoming graduate students who must quarantine in a government-approved facility upon arrival into Canada. This bursary is available for students who have had to quarantine from February 21, 2021 onward. Students must be registered full-time in a master’s or doctoral program in the Faculty of Engineering. In order to apply, students must complete the online application form on the Faculty of Engineering’s website and include a copy of their invoice from a government-approved quarantine facility. The funding will be applied to the student’s Quest account, normally within one month of application.

Eligibility & selection criteria: 

  • Normally, students must be admitted full-time to an Engineering Master’s or PhD program in Fall 2020 or later.
  • Recipients will normally be international students.
  • Students must submit a copy of their hotel invoice to the online application form on the Faculty of Engineering website. Hotel stays must be at a designated government quarantine facility from February 21, 2021 onward.
