Award description: 

One award, valued at $400, will be given annually to a graduate student who is or who has been registered full time in the Department of English Language and literature within the past calendar year. Selection will be based on the best work of applied professional communication and communication design (including professional writing, digital media, games, etc). Selection will be made annually in Winter term.

Eligibility & selection criteria: 

The Department of English Language and Literature will solicit nominations from faculty members. Faculty members may nominate a submission of the best work of applied professional communication and communication design from a graduate class taught during the previous academic year; or students may submit work created for a course or co-op placement during the past academic year.
