Systematic and scoping reviews require a rigorous and reproducible search methodology. This workshop, a combination of presentation and interactive activities, outlines the expectations of a systematic search and provides practical experience in developing a search methodology that meets systematic standards.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the characteristics of a “systematic” search
  • Use strategies to build, organize and construct a comprehensive search strategy in academic databases
  • Take a systematic approach to identify grey literature
  • Understand the search documentation process and reporting standards

If you wish to participate in the activities, please have a laptop available.
