Office of Indigenous Relations

On Tuesday, September 30th we honour the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. We will commemorate the day with a sunrise ceremony, Waterloo’s commitment polishing ceremony, speeches, a walk around Ring Road, drumming and a Round Dance.

Hosted by the Office of Indigenous Relations, this one-day non-competitive celebration of Indigenous heritage features vendors, dancers, and singers from the Waterloo region and beyond.
