The Velocity 25K competition is back!

In this All-Star edition of the Velocity Pitch Competition, we’re bringing together exceptional current and past Waterloo founders for an exhilarating showcase of innovation and entrepreneurial talent. Eight finalists compete and one founder will walk away with a grand prize of $25 thousand.

• ​Mapkot Technologies, MapMate platform, connecting food processors with small farmers

• ​NewGen Health, a non-invasive kidney function detection test

• ​PatientCompanion: a patient care platform that empowers nurses

• ​Swish Solar, is developing self-cleaning solar panel technology

​The judging panel includes Ross Robinson, general partner of the Velocity Fund, Danielle Rose, CEO and co-founder of Ceragen and Sarah Willson, principal at Panache Ventures.
