Graduate students, postdocs, and their families are invited to join us for a fall bonfire at the Laurel Creek fire pit.
The University of Waterloo will be closed for the winter holiday break from Wednesday, December 24, 2025, to Friday, January 2, 2026, and will re-open on Monday, January 5. During this time, classes will not be held, and offices will be closed.

Join UW staff Katie Damphouse and Laura McDonald to learn the ins and outs of consensus-building: a collaborative process that welcomes healthy disagreement. You’ll walk away with a new cv/resume line, and techniques for facilitating complex decisions among colleagues, friends, or collaborators. This 1.5-hour, in-person workshop is open to all womxn and nonbinary staff, faculty, and grad students at UW. Lunch will be catered from Arabesque.
Join the Sustainability Office for the 12th-annual Eco Summit on Wed, Nov 26 from 1-4:30pm in Fed Hall. The event will feature the launch of the 2025 sustainability report, case study presentations, booth showcase, sustainability awards and more.
