International experience awards
Waterloo offers several international experience awards annually to full‐time graduate students who participate in a minimally paid or volunteer work placement, an academic exchange, or a study term related to academic requirements or research. Graduate Student Research Dissemination Award
Through a commitment of financial support from the Graduate Studies Endowment Fund (GSEF) and Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA), awards are available to encourage full-time or part-time graduate students to present their own research (oral, poster, paper) at an academic conference and engage in academic dialogue within their field of study and research. Canada Research Training Awards Suite – Research Travel Supplement (CRTAS – RTS)
The Canada Research Training Awards Suite – Research Travel Supplements (CRTAS-RTS) provide additional funding to active master’s and doctoral award holders to help offset the costs of undertaking research travel within Canada or outside Canada for a defined period.
