The Centre for Information Integrity and Information Systems Assurance at the University of Waterloo (UW CISA) is pleased to announce its 12th biennial symposium to be held virtually from October 14-16th. Our symposia are recognized for the extensive interaction between practitioners and academics.
Sessions include:
- a workshop on Value Creation
- a hands-on workshop on Robotic Process Automation
- expert panels on
- internal control theory
- new assurance services
- blockchain, crypto assets and ISA 315 (Risk Assessment)
- internal audit competencies for the future
- IT in assurance practice and ISA 500 (Evidence)
- research presentations on cybersecurity and data analytics with discussions by both practitioners and academics
- interactive and entertaining sessions in lieu of our traditional reception and banquet.

The standard registration fee is $500 but discounts are available as listed on our registration page.
