Loan Guideline: The Ecology Laboratory equipment is available to all individuals in ENV for academic & learning purposes only, with priority given to assigned course activities. All equipment must be signed out with a WATcard. The equipment can be borrowed for a maximum of two weeks.If an equipment booking needs to be extended or renewed as it relates to course work, additional approval by Lab staff will be required. The borrowing period may be reduced in order to accommodate course needs.
If equipment is damaged or condition of the equipment is not suitable for re-use upon return, the borrower assumes full financial liability to either repair or replace the equipment to its original condition (at the Ecology lab manager’s discretion). In the event that the equipment is lost, stolen or irretrievable, the borrower assumes full financial responsibility to cover the replacement of the equipment. In addition, a service indicator will be placed on the student’s quest account until the situation is resolved.
All equipment loans are ultimately at the discretion of the Lab Manager.
