Anne Grant

Manager, Ecology Teaching Labs

Anne holds a master's degree from the Department of Geography. She shares her passion for all things environment with visitors to the Ecology Lab, by sharing expertise and teaching applied field courses such as the Plants of Ontario ID course.

Anne manages the Ecology Labs and ensures that students have everything they need to support their lab and field activities. This includes access to field guides, specimen collections, field and lab equipment and expertise to fulfill their course work.

Bev Raimbault

Lab Coordinator

Bev has a Master of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo. She enjoys learning about anything in nature, but especially loves plant ID. Bev’s work focuses on safety, caring for naturalized gardens on campus and outreach. However, she is also involved in all aspects of the Ecology Lab such as course support, teaching and helping students who come into the ecology lab.

Lab Assistants

Lab Assistants

The full-time co-op Lab Assistants of the Ecology Lab are hired every term. They are responsible for ensuring the safety of students, equipment demonstrations, delivering safety presentations for courses with lab components, and assisting lab sessions. Other than course support and maintaining the condition of the lab and environment gardens, the lab assistants also help organize and run workshops & outreach throughout the term.
