This full day conference for first and upper year engineer students will showcase a variety of guest speakers and workshops focused on helping participants navigate through both student life and career preparation. From planning out your next four years in undergrad to learning what to expect when you enter the workforce, this conference will help you gain the skills and knowledge needed to achieve your goals with confidence.

A research seminar presented by Dr. Marie Charbonneau, a post-doctoral fellow working on whole-body control of humanoid robots at the RoboHub, discussing 'Balancing with the TALOS humanoid robot and current developments at the RoboHub'.

GreenHouse will be hosting a Health Discovery Lab that will focus on improving the quality of lives of the aging population with health challenges. GreenHouse is a community for innovators who want to create social or environmental change.

Co-operative Education and The Problem Lab are pleased to offer students on their work term the opportunity to win a First Prize Tuition Scholarship of $1,500 or Second Prize Tuition Scholarship of $750, applicable to your next academic term. The Co-op Problem Lab Award is earned by providing the best analysis of an important problem relevant to a co-op employer or the employer’s industry.

The competition invites teams of up to 4 students to choose an important industry problem, and thoroughly research its history, scope, and impact, before pitching the findings to a panel of judges on November 14th to compete for a share of up to $30,000 in funding. Students are invited to apply to a Undergraduate Research Assistantship (URA) for the Fall 2019 term. Applications must be submitted to the Dean of Engineering Office in PSE 7302 by 4:30pm on Friday, September 20, 2019 in order to be considered.
