"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.” –William Arthur Ward. This is a week dedicated to showing your gratitude towards the people around you, whether nearstranger or family. Think of some people to reach out to and say thank you for anything they've done, big or small, and get talking! Get closer to someone you're less familiar with, rekindle an old friendship, or just have catch up with some friends. Remind everyone that the kind things we do makes the world we live in a better one — and let's not end our gratitude at the end of this week, but express it every day!

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
