Event Summary:

This invited talk will present recent advances in multifunctional filtering antennas for modern RF systems. Dr. Siddiqui will discuss reconfigurable antenna designs using split ring resonators (SRRs) and PIN diodes to enable switching between ultra-wideband and narrowband operation. The work is especially relevant to cognitive radio, multi-standard wireless systems, and MIMO applications.

Speaker's Biography:

Dr. Jawad Y. Siddiqui is affiliated with the University of Calcutta, Queen’s University, and the Royal Military College of Canada. His work focuses on antenna engineering and reconfigurable RF systems, with recent contributions in multifunctional filtering antennas for modern wireless applications.
