How to Access Mandatory Training Modules:

Training modules are available through the University of Waterloo’s LEARN platform. Employees may self-register and complete the courses online.

Note: You must have a valid University of Waterloo email address to access LEARN.

Registration Instructions:

Follow these steps to self-register for the mandatory training courses:

  1. Go to LEARN.
  2. Log in using your University of Waterloo WatIAM username and password.
  3. Click the Self-Registration link at the top of the page.
  4. Select the course name from the list and choose Register.
  5. Click on the WATERLOO LEARN logo in the top left to return to your LEARN homepage.
  6. Go to the Courses and Communities section and click on the course to begin.

Once you have completed all required courses, submit screenshots of the completed training modules through the online ECE Health & Safety Training Completion Declaration form.

NOTE: Please ensure all mandatory training is completed promptly to maintain compliance and safety standards. Access to the department’s facilities cannot be granted until training is complete.
