Professor Raafat Mansour's PhD student, Tejinder Singh, has won a prestigious Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship for his research project "Miniature Phase-Change Materials-based RF Switch Matrices for Wireless and Satellite Communication Systems".

The Vanier CGS program aims to attract and retain world-class doctoral students by supporting students who demonstrate both leadership skills and a high standard of scholarly achievement in graduate studies in the social sciences and/or humanities, natural sciences and/or engineering and health.

This year, Tejinder is the only student in the Faculty of Engineering to receive this award.  Furthermore, he is one of only two ECE graduate students to have received this award since the program's inception.

Congratulations Tejinder!
