ECE student and faculty win honourable mention at the 2018 SPIE Medical Imaging Meeting

ECE's Denny Lee (adjunct professor), Ahmet Camlica (PhD student), Karim S. Karim (professor), and Vieworks' Hyunsuk Jang (R&D Engineer), received an Honorable Mention Poster Award at the 2018 SPIE Medical Imaging meeting for their poster titled "A novel radiation detector with proportional charge gain."

The SPIE Medical Imaging meeting is the internationally recognized premier forum for reporting state-of-the-art research and development in medical imaging. The event focuses on the latest innovations found in underlying fundamental scientific principles, to technology developments, scientific evaluation, and clinical application.
