Recent MASc graduate Talal Alharbi and his supervisor Professor Kankar Bhattacharya received a Best Conference Paper Award for their paper, “Optimal Energy Management and Smart Charging of PEVs in Isolated Microgrids”, at the 2015 IEEE Electrical Power and Energy Conference (EPEC) held in October 2015 at London, Ontario, Canada.
