Waterloo's IEEE Electronics Packaging Society (EPS) Student Branch Chapter was recently awarded the Outstanding Student Chapter Award for 2021 by the local IEEE KW Section. Formed only in 2020, it is the first IEEE EPS Student Branch Chapter in Waterloo region. In less than two years it is recognized for its active organization of events and seminars to promote the EPS charter.
The IEEE Electronics Packaging Society is the leading international forum for scientists and engineers engaged in the research, design and development of revolutionary advances in microsystems packaging and manufacturing. EPS Student Branch Chapters are technical sub-units of the EPS located within a university. They offer excellent opportunities for students to network with other students, faculty, and professionals at technical meetings and social events.
