Omar Alshehri is the person whose PhD journey inspired the creation of Waterloo's Dean of Engineering Doctoral Perseverance Award. He serves as a consultant for King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, and is always looking to train undergraduate researchers and graduate students.
