Relevant Information
- You must take one elective this Academic Term on top of the core courses. If you do not carry a full course load, you will be required to repeat the 3B Academic Term. If you have any questions on this matter, contact the Computer Engineering undergraduate advisor/coordinator even if it is past the last Add Date.
- You are required to have four CSEs and two NSEs and it is common to take one such course in this Academic Term as your elective. You may choose, however, to take any course you wish, be it towards an option or a minor, or even for interest, however, to graduate, you must at some point have taken four CSEs and two NSEs.
- If you are considering pursuing a Master's Degree, you should begin to consider applying for the NSERC and OGS Scholarships during 3B. The dead-lines for these scholarships are near the start of your W6 Co-op Work Term (between 4A and 4B), however you should start planning now, for example, you will require two Letters of Reference, preferably from Professors.
- Around the end of October or the start of November, you will need to pre-enrol for your 4A electives. You will find it exceptionally difficult to schedule electives if you do not pre-enrol in the courses you would like to take. You will need to pre-enrol for at least one elective in all future terms.
