Accessibility

Whether you have a known or unknown disability/condition/illness, or if you're experiencing impacts from trauma, AccessAbility Services can help you develop your individualized academic accommodation plan for all components of your academic career.

Chaplains

Representing 11 faith traditions, Waterloo's chaplains can provide you with support and help as you explore spiritual questions. The UW chaplains represent eleven different faith traditions, and they strive to be a dynamic presence on campus, providing support to students, faculty, staff and the community.

Indigenous Services

The Waterloo Indigenous Student Centre (WISC) is a friendly space on campus where you can connect with other Indigenous (First Nation, Inuit, and Metis) students and members of the Kitchener-Waterloo community. WISC is located in United College at the University of Waterloo.

WISCoffers culturally specific mental, spiritual, emotional and physical guidance, supports students in leading a balanced and healthy lifestyle throughout their academic journey and beyond, bridges gaps to on/off-campus services and advocates for equitable opportunities for Indigenous peoples to thrive and feel an unwavering sense of belonging on the land, with their people and within themselves.

International Student Resources

Friendly and supportive staff are here to help you transition to life in Canada, including help with immigration consulting and an international student peer community.

Student Success Office (SSO)
