The FLAUW Force Working Group is exploring how to integrate Librarians and Archivists at Waterloo into FAUW and will make recommendations to the FAUW Board about how this integration would be reflected in the MOA.
What's involved?
- Serving on the FLAUW Force Working Group involves attending monthly meetings from July 2026 through June 2027, contributing to the development of a proposal for how librarians and archivists could be included in the FAUW MoA.
- Committee members will seek feedback from FAUW members and librarians and archivists as the proposal develops.
- The terms of reference are in development, and will largely focus on the preparation of a proposal. You must be a voting member of FAUW to join the committee.
- The time commitment would be at approximately three hours per month between WG meetings and review of materials.
- Meetings will generally be held in person, with virtual options used as necessary.
Committee representation
The working group membership should consist of:
- Two FAUW members
- Four librarian or archivist members of the Librarians and Archivists Association of the University of Waterloo (LAAUW)
