Service to FAUW counts as service to the University for your annual performance review.
We’re recruiting members for a new social committee to help run more social events for faculty that go beyond hanging out at the Grad House (though we know you like that too).

Every academic unit selects a faculty member for the FAUW Council of Representatives in September of each year. Talk to your current representative or chair about serving your department for the 2017–18 year.
Board of Directors: Elections are held every year in March for new Board members. In 2018 we will be electing our six Faculty-specific representatives.
Status of Women & Equity Committee: SWEC accepts applications for new members each May.
Lecturers Committee: The Lecturers Committee accepts applications for new members each May.
