Susan Elliott authors a book chapter titled 'Environmental Health' pubished in the International Encyclopedia of Human Geography, 2nd Edition. The chapter discusses the complex relationship between human health and the environment, and the design, measurement, and evaulation of such studies.
A new and useful paper which shows potential for hackathons in integrated Knowledge Translation is accepted for publication in Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention in Canada. The paper entitled, "Hacking Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE): Outcomes of the Waterlupus Hackathon" will appear in the journal's July 2020 issue.
Congratulations to GoHelP's Roxanne Springer on the acceptance of her paper entitled, "There’s not really much consideration given to the effect of the climate on NCDs” – An exploration of knowledge and attitudes of health professionals on the relationship between climate change and NCDs in Barbados, to the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.
