The Sweet Caroline Foundation in collaboration with Food Allergy Canada has announced the launch of a pilot project called Allergy Awareness for Schools. This initiative includes a powerful video called “Caroline’s Story”, in which the Lorette family shares the story of their 14-year-old daughter Caroline, who passed away from an anaphylactic reaction to dairy in 2014.

Former grad student Morgan Levison visits the GoHelP lab yesterday, March 27th 2018.  Morgan is a Health Promoter in the Environment and Health Area for the Simcoe-Muskoka Public Health Unit.

We set out to tell for the first time, the story of how people managed food allergies in Ghana. We learnt that while their experiences are similar to what we know in most western societies, there are peculiar challenges highlighting why we need to pay attention to the local context
