Water Institute members receive funding from the Queen Elizabeth Scholars Program

Four Water Institute researchers were recently awarded funding from the Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Advanced Scholars Program to build institutional capacity in select Commonwealth countries to address linkages between climate change and water security.You can read more on The Water Institute's website.

A big congratulations to GoHelP's Stephanie Lu and the rest of the Wavelength Consulting team for earning a spot in the finals for the 2017 Student Evaluation Case Competition! Wavelength Consulting placed in the top 3 of 10 teams of students from universities and colleges across Canada that participated, winning them a trip to Vancouver to compete in the final round of competition at the 2017 CES Conference.

Congratulations to GoHelP's Stephanie Lu as she joins the all-star Student and Young Professionals Network (SYPN) Executive team at the Canadian Coalition for Global Health Research (CCGHR)

The SYPN Executive team works to facilitate networking and capacity-building activities for the SYPN through CCGHR Student Chapters, conferences, and SYP blog. Stephanie is one of 8 Executive team members, including 4 other University of Waterloo students; Kristen Lee, Afnan Naeem, Nicola Toffelmire, and Gertrude Omoro.
