You are invited to Global Water Futures’ upcoming 2-part mini virtual workshop that will focus on Canadian agricultural water management issues, capabilities, advances and needs to help inform the federal government in its development of the Canada Water Agency.

The Transformative Technologies and Smart-Watersheds Research (TTSW) group, led by Professor Claude Duguay, are initiating work with industrial partners on the design of a microsatellite water management mission concept. Global Water Futures team members and the broader end-user community have an opportunity to help define the science objectives and observational requirements of the satellite mission.

This course, hosted at the University of Waterloo and co-sponsored by the Canadian Society for Hydrological Sciences and the Canadian Water Resources Association, addresses the development of computational models of watershed hydrology in support of water resources management and scientific investigation.
