Microsatellite Water Mission Workshop

The Transformative Technologies and Smart-Watersheds Research (TTSW) group, led by Professor Claude Duguay, are initiating work with industrial partners on the design of a microsatellite water management mission concept. Global Water Futures team members and the broader end-user community have an opportunity to help define the science objectives and observational requirements of the satellite mission.

Global Water Futures Open Science Meeting

This will be the first annual general meeting of the Global Water Futures (GWF) program. Plenaries, project reporting, posters, student events, breakout sessions, and other important GWF initiatives will take place during this time. 

The primary purpose of the GWF inaugural Annual Science Meeting is to provide an opportunity for all GWF researchers and affiliated highly-qualified personnel to gather and share their scientific findings and other relevant activities and outcomes with GWF community and users/stakeholders.

The First International Conference on Water Security will welcome academics, thinkers and practitioners from around the world to present, discuss and highlight key issues and directions for change from scientific and policy perspectives, including data needs and how data can be acquired, successful public and private sector business models in different settings, political opportunities and obstacles, what the expressed human needs are, and where the knowledge gaps exist.
