Join Dr. Leela Viswanathan, author of The Deliberate Doctorate: A Values-Focused Journey to Your PhD, for a motivational webinar on making the most of your doctoral experience.  After completing this webinar, you will have more insight into identifying and optimizing your skills, building supportive networks and relationships, and working through the emotional aspects of your PhD journey so that you can define success on your own terms. If you are launching your PhD journey, this webinar will get you started in reflecting on your PhD as an experience – not simply a destination, but a journey – to align your goals with what matters the most to you. About the Speaker:

Headshot of LeelaAt the time she embarked on her PhD, Dr.  Leela Viswanathan had already spent a decade as a community planner and policy analyst. She earned her degree in 2007 and, in 2015, obtained tenure as an associate professor at Queen’s University. Currently an adjunct associate professor in the School of Urban and Regional Planning in the Department of Geography and Planning at Queen’s, Dr. Viswanathan is also the founder and principal of Viswali Consulting, a planning and advisory firm that supports individuals, organizations, and institutions to change systems and practices through policy, research, and planning. A lifelong learner, Viswanathan is an accomplished and innovative educator, mentor, and researcher. She lives in Kingston, Ontario.
