Students planning to apply to one of the tri-agency doctoral scholarships (CIHR, NSERC, SSHRC) in the upcoming competitions are encouraged to attend. The focus of this workshop will be academic in nature and will provide an opportunity for applicants to receive advice/feedback from faculty members in regard to their CV, lay abstract and/or research proposal. An Applying for Graduate Scholarships: Insider Academic Advice webinar will be held the week prior to the workshop so that applicants can come prepared to seek feedback.
This is an in-person event. Registration is required.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
