The University of Waterloo is an experience-driven institution. We recognize the importance of fostering connections and providing opportunities to develop skills and engage in non-traditional learning.
Career paths for graduate students are becoming increasingly diverse and we want to provide students with the resources and support to be successful in a wide range of industries, from academic to government and non-profit, to industry.
Student experience is more than academics. We want our students to equally contribute to and gain from all that we have to offer at Waterloo. Our campus is a part of a growing entrepreneurial ecosystem and tech hub here in Waterloo and the opportunities to engage and impact are ever-evolving.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
