For Bell Let’s Talk Day, we invite you to take part in a campus-wide awareness campaign by capturing your thoughts on “Speech Bubbles ” about what mental health means to you. Build awareness by posting the bubbles in your work area.
You can download the “speech bubbles” template, or contact Occupational Health for a supply to be sent to you.
After January 30th take a picture of your bubbles and send them to Occupational Health so we can create a campus collage.
Check out other ideas/activities to raise awareness.
Remember, at Waterloo, workplace mental health is extremely important to us. If at any time, you feel you need support, you can use the Employee Family Assistance Program. Contact them at 1-800-663-1142 or visit Occupational Health.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
