Does all the information on a food package make your head spin? You're not alone! In this workshop, we will walk through the information on food packages and what it all really means. This session will cover everything from nutrition facts tables & ingredient lists to nutrition claims & best before dates. Please come prepared with 2-3 food packages to practice decoding labels from home.

Nicole is a registered dietitian with the food services department. She supports the food services team in menu development and nutrition programming with an emphasis on health and wellness for the university community.
