On July 1st, 1867, the British North America Act divided the Province of Canada into Ontario and Quebec and joined them with New Brunswick and Nova Scotia to form a confederated state called the Dominion of Canada. Since then, a country named Canada came into being. People with different backgrounds have come to this country and worked together to shape it into what it is today.

Now, Canada’s much-anticipated 150th anniversary is just around the corner. I hope you are as excited as I am! Below are some events that you and your family can attend together to celebrate Canada’s sesquicentennial.
