The Library Outreach committee asked students to design the Library's next ten buttons. Students submitted designs from October 1st to 21st, and the Outreach committee pared down the submissions to the top ten. We asked our patrons to vote for their favourite. And the winner is...

Remembrance Day

On November 11th at 11:00 a.m., the University of Waterloo takes a moment of silence to remember and honour Canadians who have served, and are continuing to serve, our country.

Here at the uWaterloo Libraries, Circulation staff will turn off the lights and step back from the desk to observe Remembrance Day.

Halloween

Halloween, the hallowed holiday for the candy lovers and mischief makers. While today we enjoy candy, pumpkins, and costumes, we wanted to learn more about how this holiday came to be.

Introducing Davis Collections student staff!

Our Collections Maintenance student staff are responsible for shelving newly received and returned library materials and ensuring the collections are maintained in proper order.  Their work is highly valued and an important aspect to the library as it greatly impacts on our ability to facilitate access to the physical collections.  Below is this Fall Term’s Collections Maintenance student staff team at the Davis Library.
