On November 11th at 11:00 a.m., the University of Waterloo takes a moment of silence to remember and honour Canadians who have served, and are continuing to serve, our country.

Here at the uWaterloo Libraries, Circulation staff will turn off the lights and step back from the desk to observe Remembrance Day.

Where will you be on November 11th at 11:00 a.m.? Ceremonies will be held at the following places:

Waterloo - Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony

Waterloo Cenotaph, Regina St. and William St., Waterloo

November 11, 10:30 a.m.

Kitchener - Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony

Due to construction, ceremonies will be held in Kitchener’s City Hall. The ceremony will begin at Victoria Park with a march to City Hall’s Carl Zehr square, with a ceremony to be held after.
