A: My favourite spot would be the new patio located outside Dana Porter.

Q: What do you like to do outside of work/any hidden talents?
A: I love to travel, watch movies, listen to music and play piano to relax.

Q: Who is your favourite author/what book would you recommend?

Q: What is your position in the library?
A: My position is ‘Lending Supervisor: Circulation Desk Training’

Q: What are you most looking forward to in your new job?
A: I find assisting colleagues and patrons to be incredibly rewarding.  I am very excited for how this position will give me several opportunities to do that.

Q: What is your favourite spot in the Library/on campus?
A: I really like the Earth Sciences Museum on campus.  Any excuse to take a shortcut through there and look at dinosaurs and sparkly rocks is fun for me.

Q: What do you like to do outside of work/any hidden talents?
A: I am currently helping my Dad completely renovate a house, so that takes up a lot of my time.  When I’m not doing that I enjoy board games, graphic novels, books, and going to the gym.

Q: Who is your favourite author/what book would you recommend?
A:I am going to cheat on this question and provide two authors.  It is a tie between David Sedaris and Ray Bradbury.  I really enjoy Sedaris’ dry humour and how he can make the most mundane daily activities an engaging story.  Ray Bradbury also had a very descriptive writing style and I find the stories he crafted to be fascinating.

For a recommendation, I am a big sci-fi fan and recommend Leviathan Wakes by James S.A. Corey.  It is the first book in an ongoing series and has an expansive ‘space-opera’ vibe.  The series explores the idea that despite technological advances, humans will usually find themselves in conflict with each other.
