North Campus power outage June 11-12, 2026
There will be a complete power outage in MC/M3/DC on Thursday, June 11 9:30 p.m. to Friday, June 12, 2026 8:00 a.m. The MFCF datacentres in MC 3015 and M3 3101 will be completely shut down. To prepare for this, the affected servers listed below will be shut down on Thursday June 11th starting at 4:00 p.m.
What is affected:
- servers in each of the linux.math, biglinux.math, fastlinux.math, windows.math, mondo.math, linux.student.math, and windows.student.math pools
- files.math, files.student.math
- GPU's in both teaching and research regions, clusters hpc-pr2 & hpc-pr3
- research servers hood, belize3, elbereth, killbill, alatariel, meleth, TSP1, TSP2, barrio1, dumbledore, hagrid, pegasus, and bluestem
- cemclinux11, cemclinux12
- all office computers
- all office networking, both wired and wireless
