What is happening?
Windows 10 will reach the end of life and no longer receive regular updates from Microsoft. See the Windows 10 Enterprise and Education lifecycle page for more information.
When is this happening?
October 14, 2025
What is the impact?
Machines running Windows 10 risk being disconnected from the campus network because they are vulnerable to attack.
Who is affected?
Anyone whose University owned laptop or desktop computer runs Windows 10.
What do you need to do?
Work with MFCF to replace or upgrade your University owned computer. MFCF will begin contacting people in January 2025. Realize that not every machine can wait until October to be replaced or upgraded.
