Summary: MFCF help is the customer contact for computing support from MFCF. The MFCF help technician can solve many problems and can also draw on the expertise of other MFCF staff. Some issues will be directed to Information Systems & Technology (IST).
Why you want this service: MFCF Help is your gateway to the support services provided by MFCF.
What is included in this service: This includes helping obtain access to University resources like the network, personal storage space, installing applications, printing.
What is not included in this service: MFCF Help will not help students with assignments. MFCF help will not train users on how to use application features.

When you can use this service: First response to customer request will be within one business day. After that timelines will be negotiated with the requestor and tracked in the service request.
The assigned technician will work during normal business hours along with other tasks assigned to the same technician.
There is only one person staffing the help desk. Response will vary depending on number of requests received.
