Announcement
- MFCF plans to start forcing updates on the Mac operating system and applications.
- If any given application is not running, it will be updated to the latest version. If it is running, notification (top right corner) will be given that the update will be forced within a certain number of days.
- Users will also receive notifications when the machine requires a reboot for operating system updates. Some of these updates may take up to an hour to install. These updates also will be forced within a certain number of days.
- If an update seems paused (e.g. displaying "About 8 minutes" for over half an hour), press and hold the Mac power button until it powers off (mouse light or caps light goes off) and then power back on.
