The University of Waterloo announced that it has signed a five-year exchange agreement with the University of Konstanz in Konstanz, Germany.
The University of Waterloo is pleased to announce that it has signed a five-year exchange agreement with the University of Konstanz in Konstanz, Germany. The agreement establishes an annual student exchange between the University of Waterloo’s Masters of Arts in Global Governance (MAGG) program, based at the Balsillie School of International Affairs (BSIA), and Konstanz’s MA in International Administration and Conflict Management (IACM).
“This is an exciting agreement with one of the top-ranked German universities,” said Suzan Ilcan, Director of the MAGG. “The IACM is an outstanding academic program, and a natural fit with the MAGG. We are thrilled to be partnering with it.”
Under the terms of the agreement, each institution will host at least one visiting student for a semester. The agreement comes into effect for the 2014-2015 academic year.
In addition to the exchange agreement, the two universities have signed a general memorandum of understanding encouraging greater scholarly cooperation and collaboration between the two institutions.
