Culture Change Coalitions (CCC)

The Partnerships in Dementia Care (PiDC) Alliance works to support culture change in research sites across Southern Ontario. These Culture Change Coalitions (CCCs) reflect the broad diversity of long-term care and community care for individuals living with dementia in Ontario. 

Each coalition has been working through the Appreciative Inquiry process for culture change alongside the PiDC Alliance researchers.  Each culture change coalition works to be as broadly inclusive as possible. 

In general, these coalitions are made up of:

  • PiDC Alliance researchers;
  • Staff from all levels, front line through management;
  • Persons with dementia and other residents of long-term care homes;
  • Volunteers;
  • Family partners in care.
